Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of Medicose. Please read them carefully — they include an important medical disclaimer.
Last updated: Jul 21, 2026
Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using Medicose(the “service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
Important medical disclaimer
Medicose is a reminder and organisation tool, not a medical device, and does not provide medical advice. The service does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition, and it is not a substitute for professional medical judgement. Always follow the instructions of your doctor or pharmacist, and never disregard or delay professional advice because of something in the app. In an emergency, contact your local emergency services.
Reminders may be delayed or missed due to factors outside our control (device settings, connectivity, or outages). Do not rely on the service as your only safeguard for time- or safety-critical medications.
Your account
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter and for keeping your account credentials secure. You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction to create an account.
Care circle
If you invite others into your care circle, you confirm you have the right to share the relevant information with them. If you manage medications on behalf of another person, you confirm you are authorised to do so.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the service unlawfully or to harm others.
- Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the service or its systems.
- Reverse engineer or misuse any part of the service.
Intellectual property
The service, including its content, branding, and software, is owned by Medicose and protected by law. You retain ownership of the information you enter; you grant us the permissions necessary to operate the service for you.
Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Medicose will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss arising from your use of — or inability to use — the service.
Changes to the service and these terms
We may modify the service or these terms over time. When we change the terms, we’ll update the “Last updated” date above. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the revised terms.
